Being so close to northern Vermont's premier ski resort, Jay Peak Ski and Golf Resort, you might assume that Montgomery is a "resort town" like so many other resort towns that spring up at the base of popular ski mountains.

But Montgomery, Vermont is different.

The Montgomery VT Area is authentic Vermont, retaining a classic Vermont town feel. We still have a white-steepled church in the middle of town, covered bridges over our rivers (six covered bridges in fact - more than any other town in the USA!), and a population of friendly, welcoming folks who carve their living out of the working landscape.
